Right after picking up Cams from the airport last weekend, we headed to Shangri-la Mactan to see they view and grab some cocktails. Unfortunately for us, we were greeted by rude staff and a bunch of other problems I wont bother to burden you with. So disappointing considering I love Shangri-la, and it’s my family’s favorite sunday destination. 🙁
We headed to Cebu Yacht Club after a bit, since the amazing people from islands banca offered to take us on their chillout cruise along the Mactan channel.
They say beanbags and sea breeze, I say yes!
So Cams and I enjoyed our very chill night out having good conversation, and watching the awesome Cebu city lights. Those of you who follow me on facebook and twitter might be wondering why I called Cams my “Manila Boyfriend.” It’s because we see each other everyday whenever I’m there, and she’s always the one picking me up, taking me home and taking care of me while Mike is all the way in Cebu!
We got to see the magnificent lights from the Mactan Bridge among other things.
I really had a blast enjoying the night with islands banca (thanks Andrea!). Thanks to Mike for taking us around and being the perfect host to my guests. Haha! Koreanovela photo care of Camille!

I’ve been living in Cebu for 5 months now and I’ve never had a boat ride! So much for living on an island. It’s been work, work and more work for the past five months. Can’t wait for the holiday break!
Ooooo…. What happened at Shang?? Do tell… Tsismosa noh! Haha! I’ve always thought that Shagri-La Hotels have the best service talaga. I guess they’re not so perfect after all.

Thanks for blogging about the Chillout Cruise Kryz! I super agree, living in cebu all my life I always took the mactan bridge for granted but after I took the Chillout Cruise, I realized how beautiful Cebu really is.
