One of the things I love the most out of styling for couples is getting all tingly inside when I see how happy they are. It’s always nice to capture moments that are meant from your heart! I styled four sets for this particular shoot, and it took us a full day to get everything done. By the time we finished, we were all pretty exhausted yet pleased with out work. Congratulations to Karyl and Mike for a wonderful relationship and being such good sports!
We shot some scenes at the St. James Amusement park in Cebu. It’s so fun to shoot there because almost all angles give you such a colorful finish. Plus, you don’t need permits or anything, you just have to pay the entrance fee, and that’s it! I chose a nautical theme for this set because I wanted to keep it playful and casual, yet still maintaining her classic girly style.
The bride’s younger sisters came up with all these awesome props. I spy: talent!
We also had a set all the way up the mountains in Danao. This is where I got my t-shirt and shorts tan that I was complaining about on twitter! haha For this picnic set, I came up with a print on print number using florals and checks.

Can you believe this was the ground we were walking on??? Its so dehydrated and scary!

We ended with a night time shoot where the couple wore their gala bests and posed beside these life sized letter cut-outs of their initials made by the groom. I super love how it came out and how creative everyone was in coming up with the themes for the shoot!
