I told you, Gaudi IS Barcelona. Everything touristy in this city is made by him or named after him. Casa Batllo is no exception. Located at Passeig de Gracia, the center of the city, Casa Batllo stands out as one of Gaudi’s masterpieces. The whole house is made of intricate details, curved lines and colors of the sea. The photo above and below was taken at the rooftop of the 6 story house. I couldn’t resist- I match!
Before heading to the site of the day, we grabbed some coffee and culture around Barri Gotic and the Picasso museum.
Nicole was my OOTD partner of the day, and coincidentally, our outfits matched too! We looked like costume-y tourists IMHO, but at least we entertained the other guys in the area. A cutie grampa even insisted on taking our photo together! He must like the color combinations we chose 😜
Some shots against Spain’s beautiful sunlight at Barri Gotic and La Sagrada Familia.
We finally headed to Casa Batllo at the end of the day. Will you look at that facade? Can you imagine your house with such intricate details on the outside? I mean curvey mosaic walls- it’s so fun! Makes me feel like I’m inside an aquarium of sorts!
We ended our day with dinner at El Nacional. If you’re ever in Barcelona, you have to check this place out! It’s so pretty! Grab a drink and wind down here while you wait for my next post! Catch you later, guys!
