Clear the Air

Here’s another travel outfit for you. I try to digress from over layering or over accessorizing when on the plane, so I tried to make do with contrasting prints and colors to keep my look interesting. Red and blue are such a classic combination that I will never tire of. I remember coloring my Barbie books when I was a kid, and thinking that the best possible color combination anyone could ever come up with was blue and red. I have no idea what gave me that impression, but I seem to still believe in it! Do you?

Look at this awesome view! I love flying during the sunset because the scenery is always absolutely breath taking. It reminds me that the BIG GUY is really up there and what he is capable of is beyond words. I don’t know why I’m feeling particularly holy today, but I keep getting sudden thoughts of gratefulness. I’d just like to share with you all that I am overly thankful for everything I am blessed with today. A loving and supportive growing family, this amazing blog with all my amazing readers, living in my beautiful peaceful city- Cebu, and the little things I really appreciate about living- be it the excessive workout sessions with overeager friends, credit card rouletters and wine nights, working with my fashionable sisters or simply getting the chance to see things like this. Sometime’s all we think about are the bad things in life, but when we step out of ourselves and take a look at the bigger picture, there are so many things to stay happy and thankful about! All positive vibes and big thank you’s today!

Anyway, back to my outfit! These two prints are so cute together aren’t they? I’m so glad to be wearing flats and not looking flat while I’m at it. These socks make all the difference! Plus, they save your feet from floor-teria when you have to take off your shoes at the X-ray ports!

Loose and comfortable cotton separates are always a preference while traveling! Oversized cardigans are best. They’re like a portable blanket!

What do you think about my look?

GAP cardigan, Clothes for the Goddess dress, SM Accessories socks and earrings, Keds sneakers

hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!

  5. I travel every year to Brazil and I’m always looking for ideas to style a comfortable look. Soooo easy to get trapped on the lounging pants… But this is refreshing. Thanks!
