Fashion Bloggers get hungry too.

I was getting really really bored while waiting for my class to start, so I decided to log on to and place an order for dinner that night. It was 1PM and Yes, I was ordering food in class. Quick Delivery was kind enough to give me a GC for TGIF, and I was so excited to use it. I logged on to the website and started filling up the necessary details to place my order. It felt like answering a survey, and expecting to win a reward in return. Super fun.

I ordered the Jack Daniel’s Salmon dish, and wrote that I wanted it to be undercooked a bit, so it doesn’t end up dry. I hate dry salmon. After 5 minutes, the order was good to go. Another 5 minutes later, I receive a call from the CSR confirming my order. How delightfully quick and easy! I then realize that my GC for TGIF was only valid the day after, and that I had placed my order a day in advance. The very helpful CSR just said that she would take care of it, and have it delivered to my place at 6pm the next day. I was doubtful at first, but glad that she was able to come up with a solution so easily.
The next day, I was really busy, and I didn’t have time to follow up on my order. I was kind of worried that it wouldn’t come, since no one from QD called me to confirm or whatever else. But at 5PM, a very friendly delivery man rang my doorbell with my TGIF dinner. YAY! An hour early (perfect, since I was starving!) and no annoying phone calls the whole day!
I take a bite into the Salmon, and it’s not undercooked like I asked for. Instead, its perfectly cooked. Not too raw and not too dry. The sauce was delightfully sweet, a total change from the usual way is Salmon prepared.
I chose cheddar mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables as my side dishes, and they complimented the Salmon perfectly. The cheddar was mild and savory, while the steamed vegetables were fresh and crisp, and a perfect choice to accompany the sweetness of the Grilled Fish.
Thank you TGIF and QD for my wonderful, stress-free, prompt, quick and easy dinner!
