Going Gradient

One of my favorite trends has to be the play on gradient and dip-dyed fabrics. I mean just look at this awesome skirt? Isn’t it amazing? It reminds me of the great blue sea and all the wonderful things in it! Gradient pieces give so much life to an outfit because the color is anything but flat. I chose to keep everything else simple and let the skirt be the main attraction for this look.

Mary janes were my heels-du-jour because the sihouette of my outfit was very girly/romantic. I love how Mary janes give off just the right amount of youthfulness and vigor. These specific ones are a bit on the classic side because of the shade and cut. I can wear this pair with almost anything!

I just had to add a bit of sparkle somewhere. You know me, the more shine the better! I really love wearing sparkly things in the daytime (as long as you do it moderately, of course). My collar was already laced with gold sequins that I only had to add a simple necklace from Island Girl’s latest collection to add to a little more oomph.

What do you think about my look?
