Hair Care with KeraSilk

So guys, remember me telling you about my secret to no-heat-semi-straight hair? Well, it just got a whole lot easier. In the photo above, it took me about 40 minutes to wash it, and then reverse-electric-fan-dry it while combing it out to make it look like that. It’s not bad, but it’s not easy either- especially when you’re in a rush. I was so used to having low maintenance curly hair, that I was so close to having it re-permed again, just cause I couldn’t take the long prep time! I was being my usual whiny self on Instagram asking you guys for suggestions on what to do with my post-colored-hair and all it’s frizzy dry-ness, when the magic words came out: KeraSilk. Hours of research later, I found myself boarding a plane, and hopping on an Uber car (use promo code: UBERKRYZ for Php300 off your first ride, anytime, anywhere!), and heading straight for Le Maquiliage Salon inside Mandarin Hotel in Makati. There, the many stylists and ates took care of me with heaps of coffee (love it when salons make you feel at home!), and more technical know-how on Keratin treatments and why they are beneficial for your hair. They told me to go for KeraSilk from Cynos and I willingly obliged. I won’t bore you with the beauty jargons (you can go ahead and google it yourself, it’s everywhere!), but the bottom line is- this treatment is GOOD for your hair, and it makes you look like you have a permanent blow dry on you for months! Well, it really depends on how you take care of it. You can’t wash your hair after 24 hours, and then you have to always use their Sulfate free Shampoo and Conditioner. It’s been exactly one month since I got mine done, and it’s still straight, though it probably looks more like the first photo now than the ones at the bottom. But all in all, I am thoroughly pleased with the results, and I can’t wait to get it done again! It saves me so much time getting ready in the morning- horaaay for wash and wear hair! It’s the best thing ever!!! Oh, and shoutout to Fujifilm for my awesome new XM1 camera that makes me transfer photos wirelessly to my phone (which I then post on Instagram- *yes thats my secret!*) and to my girl Lissa Kahayon for waiting the process out with me and snapping away to document for you guys! If you’re ever in a hair pickle, I definitely suggest KeraSilk! Hope it helps!
