Head toppers really add drama to any outfit. Even though all I had on was this plain lace (albeit sexy back) dress, my look was pulled strongly together by my hat and contrasting accessories!
Every time I explain my looks on each post, I make it a point to share a few tips that I’ve learned, cause they might be of use to you. Hopefully I can keep discovering interesting tidbits about dressing up because I always love it when my readers tell me they’ve learned something from my entries! Maybe if I get the chance to fly to New York Fashion Week with one of the readers who voted for me, I’ll learn a whole deal to share with you all! *hint hint!* After all, we get inspiration from new experiences and seeing as how I’ve never been to NY, it would be a dream come true + great learning experience!!!
Anyway, moving along… because my dress was in dainty lace, I chose to bring my fully studded bag to add contrast and edge. Contrasting themes always help add a hint of now-ness to your look.
What did I tell you about gold belts and everything gold? They’re so versatile and easy to incorporate into almost every outfit! I love how they instantly give a glamorous appeal without going over board! These slim rings are another favorite of mine. I always wear them mixed and matched because its another way to get creative!
