Home is where the Palm Trees are

A few days ago, I was invited to stay at Acacia Hotel in Alabang, Muntinlupa, Philippines together with a few other blogger friends. Camille and I were super late and arrived at 8PM instead of the planned 3PM because we had to rush there straight from a photo shoot in Taguig. If it isn’t obvious enough, we were both pretty tired and out of it by the time we arrived the hotel. But when we entered the room, all this changed with the sweetest greeting we never expected that night: personalized greeting cards with matching photos of us, towers of cake and cheese, a bottle of Beringer Rose wine (my fave!) and Patrish and Lissa opening the door for us with the widest grins in the world!

Suffice it to say we were fully pampered and well rested, complete with a whole nights worth of girly bonding. Thank you so much Acacia hotel for being such generous hosts. I wasn’t able to take pictures of the beautiful room because by the time I got there, Pat and Lissa had already rolled around the bed and marked their territory, but you can head on over to the Acacia website for some photos of the place!

The next day, I had to rush out again by 6 AM because I had another photo shoot to go to. I’m only in Manila once a month, so everytime I visit, I expect a fully jam packed schedule! Lissa was the sweetest ever, and woke up with me real early just to take my outfit shots on Acacia’s beautiful roof deck. They also had a gorgeous pool here over looking the city, where people can have breakfast by!

I wore these beautifully funky Motel Rocks pants (I’d like to think those are palms and not marijuana leaves) with a splash of blue, tied my hair up for that summery feel (okay, honestly, I was just too lazy to think about it at that ungodly hour), and matched my pants with playful platforms and feather earrings in the same salmon hue.

What do you think about my look?

Ellysage top, SM Accessories belt, Motel Rocks pants, Feet For A Queen heels, Burberry sunnies, Goody ouchless elastic, Frou Frou earrings

hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!
