Keep it short and simple

As simple as this outfit may be, it caused so much stir and enthusiasm. I woke up in the morning feeling better after I put this on, and even better than better as I went through my day and heard what people thought about it. I think it’s because everyone’s so used to seeing me in layers upon layers of prints, textures, and cuts that breaking the spell came in the form of a plain tank and shorts combo. That’s the trick really, to keep it interesting and unexpected, never be predictable with your style choices. Sometimes all you need is a break from the monotony!

All you need is love! Thank you Mia Casa for sending over this to die for bracelet. I am in love with it and I’m making it a point to wear this bracelet more often, just so I can feel some love whenever I look down at my hands!

Unfortunately for me, this wasp necklace broke before I had the chance to wear it, but I love it anyway, so I kept it in my pocket for luck. Okay, that’s such a pretentious thing to do, but I was feeling all indie (I’m not even sure Indie people do that!) so I went for the kill!

The easiest part about this look was bringing around this huge canvas Kate Moss bag that I got all the way from Germany. It was big enough to carry all of my things (wallet, laptop, camera, water bottle, other essentials) and nice enough for me to use as my actual bag that day! I didn’t even worry that I put so much stuff inside because the leather straps on this thing ensured me that it wouldn’t break! I hate it when paper bags do that, don’t you?

And of course, to spice up my look a bit, I went for these sexy stilettos, just to add a bit of femininity to my look. It’s not the obvious choice, which makes me love wearing it even more!
