After a looooong design process, I’m super thrilled to finally be able to share with you guys my design collaboration with Romwe! This was supposed to be out last April, but because of a few setbacks (mainly involving my OCD and intense desire to make everything “just right”) we are 4 months late! I just couldn’t settle with promoting something that was “pwede na yan!” levels when something could still be done about it. Soooo here we are, better late than never right? Hope you guys love my designs!
I love luxurious fabrics that are classy and sophisticated, and it’s always been my thing to keep it looking young and modern. No matter what fabric, beading or intricate stitches I choose, the silhouette will always be flattering and du jour. Most of my designs have this playfully sophisticated aesthetic, and this first one is no exception. This golden embroidered cropped top is the perfect balance between glamorous and trendy. I purposely chose this gold color for the embroidery to keep this piece classy instead of raunchy. Sheer is sooo sexy but I hate it when you have to battle with your bras so it doesn’t show. I made sure that this design would have sheer sleeves and a clean nude lining so that no matter what you wear underneath, you’ll be sure to keep the girls away from everyone’s wandering eyes. Sexy yet sophisticated. Modern yet classy!
My next design plays with the same concept I shared above. The sheer panels make this girly piece subtly sexy, while the lace and pastel color keeps it flirty without going overboard. It’s all about balance! The reason why I opted to make this a bodysuit instead of a normal top is because I want it to stay fitted and stay in place instead of loosely hanging over your bottoms. It looks so much better stretched out than crumpled, and because of this cut, you can move freely about without worrying about how your top looks like!
Now here’s a design fit for all shapes and sizes. This top will look flattering on almost all body types and it’s the perfect style for the lazy girl! All you need to do is pop on a pair of bottoms (doesn’t even matter how plain or boring it is), and this top does all the work. It has cutouts on the back (just low enough to keep it sexy, but high enough to keep it bra-friendly), and yellow sequins to let you take it from day to night! Sooo convenient!
This last design is where I had the most fun because I wore it to the beach and got a ton of compliments for it! It may look simple, but the moment you wear it, you’ll turn heads for sure! The back is really low and really sexy, but because everything else is covered up safely, then it’s not a problem at all! I can already imagine a ton of ways to wear this: with a wide A line skirt, high waisted wide-leg pants, denim cut offs- all of them looking trés chic!
What do you think?
