17 CommentsSo after another Manila shopping craze, Mike, Sheens, Andrew and I went over to SMX for the Levi’s show.
I was really impressed by the whole thing. I mean, let’s be honest here- it’s so hard to make jeans interesting! But, Levi’s pulled it off brilliantly. The hall was decorated with a Jean chandelier, a huge middle ramp and a huge screen behind it. The beautiful Sarah Meier hosted the event, which starred 8 of Manila’s hottest fashion editors and stylists, wearing beautifully decorated crystals on a nude sheer leotard. Alyanna Martinez styled the whole show, and I must say, I really thought she did a good job!
After the video of the new Levi’s Curve ID technology played, the wide screen lifted up to reveal what looked like a whole brigade of models in nude underwear. (I couldn’t help but think “Wow, I bet Jeff wishes he were here! haha”) The women moved around the huge catwalk and formed a circle facing inwards. Then suddenly, the jean chandelier lowered and all the models grabbed a pair. Pretty darn awesome, if you ask me.

Levi’s had a whole variety of women, curvy, straight, big, small, etc, and the jeans looked soooo good on all of them! I kind of want to get one for myself now!

I’m back in Cebu now, and missing a few invites because i’m bedridden (thank you, womanhood)

just interested to know because i get really bad dysmenorrhea myself. the sort that doesn’t abate without two biogesics taken together. it’s a bit better now. i used to have to take two biogestics AND a muscle relaxant.

uh, by the way, is the article up to date? because i thought the identity thief was dead and gone (for the moment). there’s a good piece of advice in the comments portion of the online article, though.

Yes, sometimes it acts up!
My stomach hurts real bad and I cant move or else I’ll puke 
oh so the pain is erratic? sometimes it hurts a lot and sometimes it doesn’t too much? do you take medication for it? maybe you should just check up with your doctor about it, my mom was just saying it’s better to get these sorts of problems sorted out while we’re young because they get more complicated and harder to get rid of when we’re older…
or maybe my mom’s just worrying too much.

I haven’t been keeping up to date with your blog for a few weeks now because I used to read it every morning on the train but haven’t been commuting for a while.
