Make Your Home Smell like Japan

You know how hearing a familiar song suddenly takes you back to a particular moment in time? Or seeing certain things brings back certain memories or emotions? Well, I’ve recently discovered that this strange phenomenon isn’t limited to our seeing and hearing senses. When I want to indulge myself in a little throwback, I light a candle or put on my favorite scents, and it instantly takes me back to a specific memory. Recently, my go to scent has been Sakura and Green Tea from Sawaday. It’s an air freshener- but not quite like your average. Just a whiff of any of these smells reminds me so much of Japan and my wonderfully peaceful experiences there.

#TakeMeBack 🍱🍙🇯🇵

As much as I would love to travel 24/7, my wallet and health won’t permit it. So at times when I’m itching to jet set, but I’m stuck at home working, this comes in pretty handy. Different scents bring out different emotions in you- just like music. These ones are perfect for lounging or working because they smell so calming and refreshing.

Sawaday is a deodorizing air freshener, so I can leave it on the whole time without worrying that my house will burn down. Plus, it comes in refreshing scents of Sakura and Green Tea- not your average tangy lemon! It lasts for up to 2 months, and is available at Robinsons, SM, Shopwise, Mercury Drug.

I like placing mine on top of my table so I can get a stronger scent. My favorite place to use it is definitely the bedroom, and while I’m reading a good book or preparing to fall asleep. The fragrance is so relaxing, it easily puts my mind at ease. It’s pretty easy to use, and super affordable too. Try it and let me know what you think!
