Today is the birthday of one of the most special people to me (and the one who too k these outfit shots, btw!), my best friend and boy friend, Michael! *insert confetti here* He’s not the “out-there” type like I am, and he wants me to treat today like “it’s just another ordinary day,” but I can’t help it! Birthdays and celebrations really make me happy and chipper! So help me in making today special by tweeting (and following) him a happy birthday greeting (@jmichaelyu)!
Anyway, on to my look for the day! Mike and I decided to visit the Mind Museum at Fort in Manila a few weeks ago because we wanted to do something touristy. Turns out it’s pretty cool and informative! The only sad thing about the place is how a lot of their props are already destroyed but aside from that, we really had a great time watching all the shows and fighting playing with the kids on who gets to use what instrument!

I actually came from a shoot that day, so I was wearing a black corset which doubles as a great fitting tank, and skater skirt. But I made sure to bring along a nice cozy cardigan cause I figured it would be cold inside the museum (and it sure was!), especially since we went at the last scheduled time (6-9PM) and there weren’t much people left exploring! I really find it so comfortable and familiar whenever I opt to go with full skirts or skater skirts and cardigans. I guess if I had to choose a casual look that I almost always go for, it will have to be this!

What do you think?
Romwe cardigan (similar here), Wacoal corset, Giftsahoy skirt (similar here), Mom’s Vintage belt, Zara heels, Prada bag
hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!

Surprise! I kept looking for the magic ball that makes your hair fly the entire time, and I finally found it just as we were about to leave! I didn’t care that I looked like a crazy woman, I was jumping up and down and grinning to my hearts content the whole time! Check out Mikes face on the second photo, seems like he had a good time too! lol
What cool museums have you been to lately?

peeeeeeeeeeeeeerfect cardi !!! 🙂
