Miss Sartorial

I built my outfit around my new khaki lace detachable collar that I got that day from Miss Sartorial. It wasn’t too tough considering I wanted to match it with a high neckline top- which surprisingly meant one shirt in my whole wardrobe. So voila, I had my top!

Then I tried matching it with an animal print high waisted khaki bottom, but that didn’t work out so well. While looking for work appropriate shorts (yes, shorts! blame this insane weather!), I stumbled upon this rust colored corduroy wonder. The pairing looked so great together, I couldn’t bear to take it off!

The shoes were a no brainer. I just threw on some lace ups for that office geek look, but kept the tone neutral, just so it wouldn’t distract too much. Most of my shoes have a peep toe detail. I just think it’s so subtly sexy that I want to have it on all my shoes! haha (something I noticed just a few days ago!)

I was also privileged enough to head over to the Island Girl showroom in Cebu a few days ago. Let me just say- W.O.W. Talk about accessories galore! Those of you who follow me on twitter or instagram know what I mean! All my accessories from this post are from Island Girl, and I have so many others just waiting in line for me to show you! This particular necklace is my favorite. It’s made of used crushed glass from the Boracay Material Recovery Facility. Now they look like semi-precious stones! Ingenious!!! I really love Island Girl for their pro-Pinoy and eco-friendly approach to fashion!

  1. Hi kryz. Which topshop branch did you get your rust corduroy? I’ve been looking for the same color but I didn’t see it in Ayala.
