I put some new shoes on and suddenly everything’s right!

Feel-good-shopping purchase 1: Floral Wedges <3

The feel-good-shopping-effect triples when you stumble upon a chic find. That’s exactly what happened with these beautiful wedges. I’ve been reading about the brand “Parisian” on several blogs now, and I just had to go and see what all the hype was about. Parisian=Racks over racks of heels that cost less than a thousand bucks. WOW. And amongst the wave of cheap, these floral wonders called to me. Talk about the ultimate summer shoe.

I had to run around the NAIA Airport in these babies, trying to catch my flight home yesterday. The crazy traffic made me incredibly late, and the whole airport was jam packed with people who were just as late as I was! (Thank God for conDREWtioning, enabling me to shove my way past all of the crazy passengers!) If that wasn’t bad enough, PAL overbooked the flight I was on, and had to remedy the situation by offering free tickets to those willing to get bumped off. There was a huge uproar of angry in the air. Thank goodness I was still able to sneak myself in the flight (and, I got to see Gavin, who looks so much bigger now!) The only things that made me feel better were my new summer wedges. I kept looking down at them when I felt like screaming, and suddenly, I didn’t anymore. I know this might sound incredibly shallow, but I’ll still say it: Thank God for the power of beautiful heels to brighten up any girl’s mood. <3

Excuse me, Mister.

I’m flying home for the rest of the week. I think I need some of that Cebu air. I’ve been feeling pretty whoozie for the past couple of days. If you follow me on twitter, then you’re probably tired of hearing me say that. I’m also pretty excited to meet up with my awesome interior designers and see what they’ve come up with for my new room. They told me they’ve remained faithful to my request for a huge walk in closet. I say AWE-effin-SOME! I’ve been making good use of my beloved clothes for the past few days. I’ve made sets of outfits for all occasions. And just yesterday, God gave me the perfect cure for my upset stomach and migraine! S H O P P I N G. The word is music to my ears! Nothing, i say, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, can make you feel better in an instant ( a split of an instance, in my case.) So excited to show you all of the wonderful things I got! <3

On growing up.

Where art thou, Sandie Low?

Notice my awesomely awesome nerdy watch. :D

With my fellow nerd, Michael (notice the glasses, and the watch if you could have seen it), who coerced me to sneak out a box of doughnuts and two of the mini cupcakes.

With my awesome jazzers, who I WILL MISS LIKE ALL HELL. :( Can't wait to visit training and see them in their new required cads attire: THE SPORTS BRA.

With Jazzer. One of my first CADs buddies! Through thick and thin, my friend!

CADs Seniors, with our tribute! A HUGE thank you to all the undergrads who made it possible. Your letters made me cryyyyyy!!!! :*

Seniors doing the cads sign, which I cant do to save my life.

Wow. My very last CADs event as a member. I can’t believe I’m part of the alumni now! That word used to seem so far away, but now I’m right in the midst of it, and I still can’t believe it. Just like how I can’t believe I’m already 2 decades old, but I still enjoy the same silly things. I thought turning 20 meant an instant shift in lifestyle and taste, but that never really happened. I still feel like the same kid who wore her sister’s platform boots and sang her heart out, thinking she was part of the Spice Girls. I guess growing older doesn’t mean having to give up things you love, like smiling ear to ear when you see fireworks and rainbows, or laughing your ass off at the stupid jokes on cartoon shows. These things actually make growing up easier to handle (and harder to notice!) Growing up isn’t so bad, because at the very least, you can always take the things you love with you.

P.S.

This is too good to not include!
