Party Hearty

WAGW top and glasses, H&M intimates, Pill Skirt, F21 accessories

Hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!

I initially got this skirt for a shoot I was producing, but I thought it was too cute to pass up! So, I got another one just for myself! I decided to give it a more relaxed and less summery feel, so I paired it with my overused Everlast sando, and pulled the whole look together with a white linen blazer. You can’t see my feet in the photo, but I wore my suede F21 khaki booties (with a number of cute versions now in Zara, by the way!)

Today I had a meeting, designed a few pairs of shoes and went to have lunch with some really fun and fashionable people, Weesa Ang, Boop and Kimi Yap. Too bad I forgot to take a photo with them! The girls were super fun to hang out with, and our 3 hour lunch and 2 hour shopping spree seemed like mere minutes! There were some newly revealed surprises and some intense laughing. It feels so nice to hang out with girls for a change! (No offense to my equally entertaining testosterone gang.) They actually listen, understand and share the same sentiments! I can talk about make-up and clothes and all that, a far cry from the cars-and-guns-talk that I’ve already grown accustomed to. FUN. I totally miss my friends, but it was definitely great to have some girly girl company for a change. (*ahem to all my girl friends who got boyfriends and learned the art of ditching!)

Got to finish a few more projects today, then I’m finally off to bed. Hope everyones having a great weekend!

Boyfriend Sweater, check!

WAGW For her MAN Sweater, WAGW Skirt, Sole Service Espadrilles

Hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!

Here’s another shot from that Sole Service shoot we had months back. I really miss my long hair (and all the energy I had for all these jump shots!)

Dressing like a paradox is nothing new. Here’s one example. Pairing an oversized boyfriend sweater with a short hemmed tulle tiered skirt and some casual espadrilles.  This outfit reminds me of how I used to dress during highschool. Long sleeved tops, short skirts and fun flats were my fail-safe outfit of choice. I’d like to think I’ve outgrown this phase and evolved my personal sense of style, but I guess it never hurts to look back and modernize what you’ve always loved.
