Suiting up for Philippine weather this time of year can be quite the challenge. I’ve mentioned it a lot in my previous posts, but in case you’re still wondering, bipolar weather seems to be the recurring trend this season. What’s a girl to do? Dress accordingly of course! The trick is to find pieces in your wardrobe that suit the hot humid sun and dark pouring rain.
My take on this challenge was to go for easy layers in bright summery prints. Scarf print dress on a scarf print scarf in breezy fabrics are well suited for the tropical heat, while adding a cotton cardigan in a deep hue cozy you up for the cold.
Why scarf print? It’s on trend, two scarf prints together almost always match, and well… they’re just too darn good looking!
Now let’s get to footwear. Booties may be a smart choice for most, but I’d go for these super high platforms. They kept my feel puddle free the whole day! Plus, this particular pair is so comfortable, I can run in them! The soles are also lined with textured rubber to keep you from sliding on slippery paths- perfect!

I was just wondering, is the picture of you sitting on the rail a camera trick? From what I see those rails seem to be thin and not safe to sit on. You could easily fall off. I like the outfit. I don’t have a scarf in my closet yet, but I’m considering to buy one to be stylish on this indeed bipolar weather.
I really sat on that thin rail, and as you can see, it didn’t last long. I was too afraid! lol
