Spell Eighties! (Plus +1,2,3,4 on Young Star!)

So- meet my “feeling model” pose! Bagay ba? Hee. Well, the reason why I have this freaky “i-know-what-you’re-thinking” smile on is because I was invited to do a small “HOW TO” article on posing like a fashion blogger, together with my loves, Laureen and Camille, for Philippine Star’s Young Star section!

It’s so fun to see the three of us in our signature poses! We used to take each others photos (back when I was in Manila) so I really enjoyed seeing their photos and sort of virtually reliving the experience!

Here’s a close up of my photos:

Step 1: FLIP YOUR HAIR for added bounce and volume.

Step 2: One hand on the hip for shape, and the other on your side- just because it’s easiest that way!

Step 3: Cross one leg straight over the other to elongate your silhouette. (A shorty like me would need this! haha) Do your “fierce face” and snap away!

Step 4: For detail shots, keep your accessories close together and take a photo of them.

Et voila! That’s my version of my personal blogger pose! What do you think? :)

Now, on to the outfit:

I used a kimono cover up as a top by using a safety pin to secure it shut, and tucking it into my skirt. I really like the look of this particular print on print because they go so well together! Gold seemed like the perfect accessory match, so I took my chain fringe necklace from Bubbles and wore it inside my top, for a body chain effect (which I also absolutely love), and wore my vintage black leather belt with it’s gold buckle.

Lastly, I opted for my new “hooves” booties from fivebyfive to punctuate the look, and I think it does exactly that. I mean- look at it! It’s a statement dream!!! (a comfortable one at that!) This is my first “pre-order”shoe and I absolutely love it! Once again, its online shopping for the win!!!

Binky top, WAGW skirt (SOLD OUT), Bubbles necklace, Fivebyfive booties
hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!
