WAGW won yet another award: Go Negosyo’s Youth Inspiring STARpreneur! Horaaaaaaaay! It’s feels great to be recognized, especially when it’s for making a difference and inspiring today’s youth! The award was supposed to go to my sister and WAGW founder/head honcho, Diane, but she’s preggers (again!) and stuck in bed rest, so Jack and I were her faithful substitutes for the day. This is what I wore to the ceremony. I wanted to look professional yet fashionable and dressed up yet unstudied (also known as the forever advised “smart casual” look)- so I went with a corporate attire and gave it a little fashionable spin. Based on the silhouettes of my look, I’m all covered up, but the sheer pants are where all the party’s at! I only stuck to two tones: black and blush, to maintain the mature quality of my look, but kept it young and playful with the sheer and printed details on my pants.

Simple jewellery always does the trick. I really love these infinity bracelets that I got as part of a set from SM accessories. The less I wear them with, the classier they look! To think I got them for a ridiculously cheap rate, and it came with 10 other bracelets!

Above is Jack, Rach and I before we entered the summit. It was sooo windy that I had to fight to keep my eyes open! On the other side of the photo, you’ll see Jack somewhere in the middle with our award, seated beside the other awardees and presenters including Jay Aldeguer, Christine Belo Henares, Creative Cuisine, Sprockets Cafe, Penthouse and Loft, Rhipstop and more. Congratulations to everyone recognized that day!

I added hints of playfulness to my look since it was a youth summit, and I had to attend another casual lunch event right after the ceremony. Dressing for multiple events call for creativity and an eye for detail! Even though I was dressed for a semi-formal function, the little hints of color and vigor in my look made it suitable for informal day time gatherings as well!

Our other event was held at Cafe Sarree, a cute little resto in Escario Central Cebu, owned by the pretty Sarree who is posing between Jack and I. If you ever get to go there, try their smoked salmon sandwich. Mmm I can taste it already!
