SUP Yoga

I am a big fitness junkie, and I can’t stand having no exercise or eating too much fast food (with the exception of sweets of course- can’t ever get enough of that!) A few months back, I discovered YOGA and fell in love with it’s power and vinyasa classes. I’ve posted about it on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in the past, but never up here on the blog because- well, I’m not really an expert so I figure I probably have nothing much to share about it. But then I though, hey, I have this blog to talk to you guys about what I like and what I’m up to, so it would be a total sin not to write about something I do on an almost daily basis. So, here goes! I like Yoga because it not only strengthens your body, but lets you keep your focus, relax your mind and increase your patience. Today I’m sharing with you a few photos of my Stand Up Paddle session with Yogahub Cebu, which made me feel totally cool- even though I had no idea what I was doing most of the time. It’s a great exercise, and even my guy friends agree that it’s really tough too! Another thing I love about Yoga and particularly Yogahub Cebu is how everyone is really nice and friendly, making you less self conscious about sticking your bum up in the air in front of everyone. It’s a great community filled with people from all walks of life, and even so, you feel like you just fit in. #ThisIsTotallyNotASponsoredPost by the way. Most importantly, for all of you in Cebu who want to donate to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda, Yogahub accepts donations and will send them straight to Bogo, North of Cebu for you. They also put up all the donations on a board outside the studio for complete transparency (I guess), so you know they are accounting for everything properly! Like I said, there’s always a way to help in anything you do!
