Time for my fashionable food favorites again! #IsThereEvenSuchAThing For today’s review, I’ve chosen another member of the Abaca group- Tavolata! Sooo happy that they’re open for lunch now because I can finally take decent food selfies! #BloggerProblems
You know it’s an Abaca restaurant when you have half cut wine bottles as glasses, high ceilings, exposed light bulbs and a lot of black and browns!
My date for the day is no other than my sister and this blog’s proud photographer- JackKaye!
Lamb Tortiglioni (P430) Penne type pasta with lamb ragu, tomatoes, mint and ricotta.
Artichoke Salad (P425) Arugula, Beets, Pecorino Toscana and Hazelnuts. Personally did not like this. It’s not their fault, I just don’t think I like beets and artichokes very much. I have no idea why I ordered this lol.
Spaghetti Pomodoro (P395) Classic long pasta with heirloom tomatoes, sweet basil and parmesan.
Four Cheese Pizza (P410) Ricotta, Gorgonzola, Asiago, Mozarella
Soup of the Day- I think. I’m such a bad blogger! I totally forgot to list this down!
And another good lookin’ sandwich that I can’t put my finger on! Sorry guys, sometimes my hungry belly gets to the food first before my brain can figure out what I’m eating! 😛Find Tavolata at: Design Center of Cebu | AS Fortuna at P. As for what I wore that day, I opted for an all black outfit brightened up with a fresh pop of neon.
My beautiful lace top was so sheer and revealing, that I decided to wear a black cardigan over it and just let it peek through at the top. It created such a beautiful detail that I didn’t even bother wearing anything around my neck anymore! In the photo above, I opened my cardigan just so you can see what it looks like. If you’re more adventurous and confident, this look also works without the cardigan- perhaps with some boyfriend jeans?
To keep my look classy, I tied my hair in a low messy bun that created a soft, romantic and sophisticated vibe. It really downplayed the sexiness of my outfit and made it more appropriate for day.
What do you think?
