Under Construction

What would you wear to a site visit in an uncompleted building, filled with carpenters and undone concrete? Stacked accessories and shiny gold pumps! Are you kidding me? No. Seriously? Maybe.

 A few days before we opened WAGW in SM Consolacion, I went to help fix up the store display and merchandise (we have different clothes there, so make sure to drop by if you live in the area!)  This is my construction worker/visual merchandiser get up:

Baggy rolled up khaki’s from Levi’s, breezy button up top from Monkee Business, pack and dump bucket bag from Coach, and a bunch of fun accessories. I went through a real simple thought process. Wear loose clothes and make it work. Let me break it down for you.

I love wearing these sunnies. They’re such a strong angled contrast to my soft curly hair!

I was so adamant about dressing down that I insisted on going all-out utilitarian, and tying my belt in a knot. And since that worked pretty well, I thought, why not add a few more twists and braids to my look? Hence, the stacked braid friendship bracelets!

My dump it bag. Because you can literally just… dump stuff in it. (Oh gosh, Im so eloquent!)

I love the back detail of this top. It just adds so much to the femininity of it, and it easily dresses up my construction worker look!

Gold and orange necklaces were such an easy choice to compliment the outfit. Similar pantones always do the trick.

And of course, glittery gold pumps. I wasn’t kidding. Of course, I had my trusty footzyrolls flats with me in the same gold hue, but I just couldn’t resist shocking my sisters when they first saw me walk in with these bad boys!
