Shorts and flats (especially sneakers) are my favorite travel outfit options during the summer. When I went to HongKong last week, the weather switched from hot and sunny to hot and rainy, so I needed to pack a lightweight coverup in case of shower. So the question now is: How do you make your travel outfit look styled with all these conditions? My answer? Print on print! And in this case, I went for three different animal prints (and some gold glittery shoes to match!)

Who would have thought that combining leopard with zebra and (what I assume is a) tiger would work so well together?

The most basic tip I can lend you is to stick to a color palette to keep it from looking too cluttered. If you’re going all out on the prints, try to keep accessories to a minimal too. If you have to wear some, then make sure they stick to the color scheme as well.

Another reason why this look works is because the prints vary in size and opacity. The boldest and most visible print stayed on one piece- my blazer. My top was a little less competitive, and hosted one zoomed in photo of a tiger’s face with colors that perfectly complemented the very light gold zebra stripes on my shorts. Both of them formed a printed ombre pattern that flawlessly stayed in chorus, allowing my blazer to steal the show!

What do you think about my look?
Glam Effect blazer, Closet Goddess top, Romwe sunnies, GAP shorts, Call It Spring bag, J&M by Soleil shoes
