It’s been so long since I’ve been out on a date night, and it feels so weird to be getting ready and glammed up again for an occasion other than filming. Hubs and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary a few days ago and we decided to do a make-shift candle-lit dinner here at home. Cebu is getting a ton of new Covid-19 cases, and we are even more adamant to stay home these days. Even though I would have wanted to celebrate by the beach, or somewhere more romantic- it was just out of the question. We have Scottie boo to think of (always!).
Slater suggested making some steak and sea bass for dinner. He volunteered to cook! I helped him set up and ordered a round of yummy air-flown salmon and tuna sashimi with a side of Atlantic salmon roe. It was sooo good! We even opened up a bottle of one of my favorite Pinot Noirs to celebrate! Even if we were just at home, it was still a very romantic and memorable night. Plus- he dressed up and put on hair gel. Guys, I feel special LOL
In today’s video, I’m walking you through what I did to prep for our little date. We are starting with skincare (sent over by our friends at COMMONLABS) and moving on to make-up and then finishing off with hair and a little “rampa” for hubs. I missed doing videos like these!
