How I Prevent Stretch marks (Body Care Routine)

I hope everyone is having an awesome week so far! I’m back again with another video and this time, I recommend all things body care! We talk about skin care all the time, but mostly just delve into products for the face. However, our body has so much more skin real estate and needs a lot of TLC too! This video is completely #NotSponsored – I just felt like me sharing all the stuff I’ve been using would be helpful to you especially for those who are in the same pregnancy journey as me!

Now let’s talk about BODY CARE. Ever since finding out about my pregnancy, I started researching EVERYTHING and I mean everything body care – especially stretch marks! Talking to my doctor and my momma friends, I found out that those beautiful stripes on our body (commonly called stretch marks) develop when one (and one’s skin!) is growing at a rapid rate (a great example would be PREGNANCY) and research shows that it is mostly GENETIC. Which means that if your mom developed stretch marks during her pregnancy then you are most likely to get it too!

Now let’s get things straight, there is nothing wrong with having stretch marks but there is also nothing wrong with doing as much as you can to prevent them. Worth a shot, right? That is why I searched high and low for body care products that work perfectly for me – As usual, every product I mention (on the video) will be linked down below:

1. Clarins Bath Concentrate

2. Sol de Janeiro Body Buff Exfoliating Cream

3. L’occitane Melting Honey Scrub

4. Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Body Butter

5. Aveeno Skin Relief Lotion

6. Kosé Body Serum (similar product)
