We have come to the end (or the start?) of the week, my friends! I filmed this short #GetReadyWithMe in an effort to add a bit of normalcy back to my life. Showering at 4pm and wearing sweats all day can’t be good for my emotional state lol. Even though I’m only gonna debut this look to my living room, fixing up surely lifts the spirits- even just the slightest.
In today’s look, I start fresh from the shower with a simple day time (and pregnancy safe) skincare routine. This is quickly followed by a fresh and easy everyday makeup look that only took a few minutes- but made such a big impact in making me feel human again. I’m on my 8th month of pregnancy and sometimes I feel so bloated, sweaty and unlike myself. Even when there’s really no one who’ll see this lewk, making the effort to feel good for me is a huge deal.
I hope by watching this video, you’ll also be encouraged to do something – it doesn’t have to be big or fully-packed and you don’t have to think about being productive 24/7. Sometimes it’s all about opening your windows, making your bed or watching your favorite film that makes us feel calmer and ready to face the day with more ease.
I hope all of you are enjoying my #StayHome series! I know I’m producing more laid back content these days but I feel like it reflects the state I’m in right now. A bit uneasy but grateful, a bit scared but coping- and wishing and praying for a hopeful future.
