Ukay-Ukay Try on Haul

Last Sunday’s “Thrifted vs. High Street” challenge was such blast, and I was so thrilled to see how all of you were so game in playing along. We should do it more often, yes? πŸ™‚

When we went thrift shopping for the challenge, I never really anticipated that the store we visited would have so many great finds.Β Looking at all the clothes and inhaling heaps of that trademark ukay smell brought out the teenage psyche me. I felt so nostalgic! My thrift-shopping past life was coming back lol. Honestly though, It reminded me how fun fashion is, and how exciting it feels to hunt for good deals.Β I mean, isn’t it one of life’s happiness to score branded, well-conditionedΒ  pre-loved dresses that costs maybe 10% (or even less) of the original price? Shouldn’t it be called a win if you find the exact clothes to complete the look you’re trying to achieve at a very cheap cost? Who’s with me?!

2 hours in and I found my self leaving the store with 17 items that I was itching to style. That’s inspiration money can’t buy!

So here I am, making sure I share with you all the goods I’ve got. I also want to give a few tips and advises (because it wouldn’t be a true Kryzzzie video without a little big sister talk). So, if you haven’t been to a thrift shop then girl, you might want to take a quick detour and experience a really satisfying treasure hunt!
