Black, White and Sunlight

It’s back to the daily grind for me here in Cebu, and I couldn’t be happier. I have sooo much work to catch up with, which means my daily grind will involve longer hours in the office and less time for yoga/gym/outfitshots/coffeetime but hey, I ain’t complaining! With more work also comes less time to think about other things, so allow me to give you guys an inside scoop at what’s happening here at the WAGW HQ! At WAGW, we interviewed so many people last month to help our growing company. For the longest time, it was just my sister Diane doing all the work. When Jack and I graduated college, we both decided to help her out. It’s been that way for the past 4 years! But now, with work piling up and more innovations needed to be done, we decided to hire more people to our creative team. We started with my assistant (and store stylist/visual merchandiser) Faith, who we then promoted to become our Social Media manager. So if you purchase anything from WAGW online or drop a “hello” on our Instagram/Facebook or twitter page, that’s Faith you’re talking to! Since WAGW always listens to our customers, we are also aiming to provide you guys with better designs, better quality and better fit- so this month, we have a very busy office filled with 3 new bright young designers to come up with more chic and flattering for our exclusives line. These pieces all have complete sizes, great quality with reasonable price and can only be found at WAGW! We also really loooove street style and making the most out of your purchases, so we’re brewing some fun and funky tips and tricks to really bring out the best from your WAGW item. Sooo excited for the coming months with my new team. Hope you guys can stay tuned and support us and our love for fashion!x

Golf Day Sunday

Finally back in Cebu after a loooong and tiring day of delays yesterday. My 1PM flight ended up becoming a 6PM one due to aircraft maintenance, and I was too scared (and tired) to argue, so I just sat down and watched the time fly by. The airport was a crazy mess with more than 6 flights getting replaced/delayed/cancelled, all due to technical difficulties. There were throngs of angry people yelling at each other and at the airline crew, and some even taking videos and photos and posting them online! But after all that crazy and all the hustle and bustle, I am just so happy to find myself back in calming Cebu (at long last!) What better way to start the day than to share with you just how chill life is down here. Fresh air, childhood friends, random hobbies, and the love of my life (who welcomed me home with fresh flowers- how lucky can I get right???) It doesn’t get too hectic around here, and thats precisely why I love it. To all the busy bees out there, reminding you to find balance in your life with moments like these! Happy Monday!

The New Neutral

My sister always tells me that I remind her of Cruella- not because I love fur, but because I love snakeskin, croc skin, lambskin, stingray and all other textures so much. If I had to pick between texture or print for the rest of my life, textures would win by a mile. It didn’t come as a surprise to her that when I saw these jeans at Guess, it was shopping bag and check out for me. I love wearing them with basics for a very effortless feel, or with prints and bold colors- treating them like neutrals and adding so much dimension to my look. Spring is just right around the corner and pastels are such a big trend right now. Try wearing your new neutrals with crisp basics in cotton candy hues for an updated take on the trend! What do you think?
